Skull chairs

I recently purchased  this kit for skull chairs.  Although  I adore them, they are not very sturdy.  

Cute little chairs.  

The skulls have only the cheek area to glue.  I also had to put a support piece in the back.  

I think they should have framed the skull to have an edge to glue like the seat.  

The wood is so thin it cracks very easily.   If I was good at cutting  straight  I would redo it but the chair backs won't  be seen this time anyway
